We brought our toddler here on Mother's Day for a nice long walk. The scenery is beautiful and you would not believe you're in town. Lots of great places for taking pictures. There were also some German Shepherds being trained on the trails and we got to pet some, our daughter lovednthay! We even saw some turtles!
A great place for a quick walk! Dog friendly, and a really interesting history.
Definitely a 5 star and a great family fun afternoon activity. This is a FREE activity with nature trails, animal exhibits, and outdoor fun. We had a birthday party there - they rent their back room out for $10 an hour. It was great for all the kids to stay busy and be in and out.
Great trails for walking or running. Very friendly staff in the vistor center with live bee's and insects that's way worth checking out!
I visited here with my aunt and her grandchildren for a nature walk earlier this month. It's a lovely place to explore, and the kids were fascinated by the displays and live animals inside the building as well. I recommend! They have a Facebook page where they post events. That's how my aunt heard about it.
