Great office for kids. Quick and easy scheduling. Mine love the play area and the calm atmosphere helped them not be anxious for their first dental checkups! My son is 4 and recently had to be sedated for some dental work and dr. Owens was very informative, thorough and compassionate. My son and two 3 yr old girls also love the goody bags and treasure chest at the end
As someone who sits in his chair, the last time I went he didn't numb me right and when I said I could feel the shots he said it was impossible and went on with shooting my mouth with needles. Worse experience I've ever had! Then when I cried he acted like I was a baby. If you had 8 shots in your mouth I'm pretty sure you would cry too! Worse dentist ever, never going back. The helpers are nice though.
Dr. Owens was my dentist when I was a child. I never was apprehensive or had negative feelings about going to the dentist. He was comforting and funny. Now that I have children of my own, I sent all four of them to Dr. Owens. My children are the same as I was, no negative feelings and no anxiety about visiting the dentist. Yes he is taking care of their teeth, but more importantly he's helping them feel comfortable even when they're having procedures done that might be uncomfortable !!!
The best pediatric dentist in the area for sure! We've been to a few dentists and I am so glad we decided to try out Dr. Owens. Because of his care (and now his son Sam as well) and the whole office staff, my children enjoy the dentist and are always excited for appointments. The work done is great as well there has never been an issue with it. I recommend Drs. Owens' to all of my friends for their children's dental needs!
Dr James and Dr Samuel are Amazing. My girls have gone there their whole lives. The staff is outstanding. Always friendly and efficient. We get in and out quickly. The Dentists always look at the way teeth are coming in, to avoid braces as long as possible.
